When you buy Hotel Chocolat, you know you're buying quality product that's ethically sourced with more cocoa percentage and less sugar. It's definitely a treat, but I feel good that I'm supporting a UK based company that has its own cocoa plantation and employs native workers in the production of the fruit cultivation. When buying a luxury for yourself or others, it's nice to know you have contributed to something positive also.

Arrived today and the chocolate looks awful. Misshapen and discoloured, possibly melted and hardened again. Complete waste of money and no option to request a refund as they are not eligible for return. If I could give no stars, I would. Update: eventually found the chat can arrange refund for poor quality items without return and it was done quickly. But difficult to find when the default option is return or replace for an item that isn't eligible for that
